In 2016, Tom Ellis introduced an alternative to outdated scheduling practices and costly staffing agencies. With ShiftKey, Tom and his innovative team put decision-making into the hands of facilities and independent professionals, connecting them directly in a true digital marketplace, and making a profound human impact.

Mike brings more than 20 years of experience in tech, healthcare, leadership and business management to his role, with a focus on a more sustainable workforce and economy. He laid the foundation for ShiftKey’s partnership with the Dallas Mavericks, who share our company’s commitment to supporting vulnerable communities.
Chief Legal and Public Affairs Officer
For over 15 years, Regan has advised companies on technology, products, processes, operations, communications and legislative strategies. She is a leading expert on the future of work and the legal, regulatory and policy challenges around it. Regan holds a juris doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and is a published author and public speaker.
Thomas comes from the software space, previously serving as CPO for Datasite, where he built a user platform from the ground up and won the BIG AI Excellence Award for artificial intelligence-based product innovation. Prior to that, at Snagajob, he crafted a vision for tech to support ease, access, flexibility and connections for the hourly and part-time workforce.
Seth is a leader with 30 years experience across a variety of industry and ownership structures, helping companies increase revenue and EBITDA by identifying and leading process improvement initiatives based in data and technology. With a focus on marketplace and SaaS companies, Seth has served as president at Aspira (Vista Equity Partners) and ReserveAmerica (IAC). He has also held senior executive positions at Camping World Holdings and Equity Lifestyle Properties.
Brandon’s deep industry knowledge and experience in the post-acute space gives him a unique perspective on growing revenue at ShiftKey. Prior to joining, he led growth and acquisition for multi-facility/multi-state operations in the post-acute space, and was President of Operations at Senior Care Centers. Brandon is a licensed nursing facility administrator and is a sought after expert on workforce strategies. He served on the Texas Health Care Association Board for five years and often advises on legislative proposals impacting care facilities.
Ryan brings nearly 20 years of financial, business strategy and marketing experience to ShiftKey, along with a background in digital and paid media. He served as a board member and as chief marketing and digital officer across a wide range of ecommerce, consumer technology and retail brands, including Alex and Ani, Serta Simmons and, most recently, FIGS.
Karen’s leadership focuses on organizational effectiveness, culture development and proactive Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) strategies. Prior to joining ShiftKey, Karen worked in the cybersecurity industry for 17 years to include being Chief Human Resources Officer for Forcepoint, a leading user and data security company, entrusted to safeguard organizations while driving digital transformation and growth.
Before joining ShiftKey, Sergey spent 20 years in the airline industry, working as chief architect and VP of engineering at Sabre. He built market-leading solutions that continue to help airlines achieve their operational and financial goals.
As an Official Partner of the Mavs, we’re in the best possible position to make a meaningful difference for our community. In 2022, ShiftKey presented the Maverick’s Toast to Tipoff and the Mavs Vault at the State Fair of Texas, as well as the annual Mavs Ball in 2023, which raised $1.85 million for women, children and families.
