Celebrating National Assisted Living Week by celebrating our community
This week we connected with the incredible people at The Stayton at Museum Way to celebrate National Assisted Living Week and their contributions to the community of Fort Worth, Texas. We enjoyed sharing time and cake with the healthcare professionals there, as well as witnessing their passion for healthcare and dedication to their residents.
Assisted living facilities provide critical services that enable many older and disabled adults to maintain independence. National Assisted Living Week, established by the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) almost 30 years ago, is a chance to honor the unique contributions of these facilities and the caregivers who serve within their walls.
This year’s theme, “Inspiring Generations,” has us contemplating the critical role assisted living communities play in helping people of all ages connect — whether in exchanging perspectives and knowledge, hosting intergenerational activities, or even connecting older adults with young children for the enrichment of all.
This week and every week, our deepest gratitude goes to all of those who work in assisted living. Your work continues to inspire all the generations at ShiftKey.
