Custom Shift Times create clarity for schedulers and independent professionals alike
You can now create custom shifts in 30-minute increments, giving you more flexibility and control than ever before. We’ve reduced the chances of a.m./p.m. scheduling mistakes with our 24-hour clock, and the platform also marks shifts that cross over midnight as “Overnight Shifts,” creating clarity for schedulers and independent professionals alike. You can use Custom Shift Times for any shift type.

Reliability scores help you choose the best independent professional for your community
We believe you should feel confident about the informed scheduling choices you make through the ShiftKey platform. The Reliability Score on the platform is designed to increase fairness for all platform users. It has been updated to consider 12 months of platform usage rather than only 28 days for more context, and offers clearer guidance about who you choose to engage through the platform.
Shift cancellations can impact everyone, so transparency in our marketplace encourages transparent communication.
