ShiftKey is an app independent professionals use to connect with facilities that have open RN shifts. You bid on shifts when and where you like, choosing the rate you prefer. Facilities can then accept your bid if it works for them. 

It’s easy to use:  

1. Create your account 
2. Complete a federal background check 
3. Upload the required credentials

Then, once our team verifies your credentials, you’ll be able to bid on RN shifts in over 430 markets (wherever you’re licensed to practice). You will be providing services as an independent contractor on the platform and not as an employee of ShiftKey or any healthcare facility on the platform. 

Pennsylvania is part of the Nurse Licensure Compact, giving you the option of obtaining a multistate license that simplifies the credentialing process throughout the U.S. 

You choose from three convenient options:  

1. Money lands in your ShiftKey Wallet account moments after your invoice is approved.*
2. Instant payments go to your preferred existing debit card for added convenience.**
3. Payments arrive in your bank account each week with direct deposit. 

*Timing of payments may vary based on invoice approvals and are subject to a $2.95 fee per payment from ShiftKey. Manual review of an invoice usually takes <24 hours but can take up to a week. Once your invoice is approved, we can start processing your payment.
